There is an amazing work of God taking place in China, as literally millions have come and are coming to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit is moving in mighty ways and rekindling a passion in the Chinese Church to "go into all the world and preach the good news." The Chinese Church has a burden especially for the unreached people groups in the 10/40 window and senses a special calling to reach these souls with the Gospel. In Matthew 24:14, Jesus says, "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." The Chinese Church desires to partner with the Church in North America, Korea, South America, Europe, and Africa, to lift up Jesus Christ in Asia, spreading His truth, His love, and His life. These are exciting times to be partnering with the Lord in His work on the Earth.
In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus told his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." His words still ring true today and the harvest is indeed plentiful in Asia. Our Chinese brothers and sisters are eager to fulfill God's call and are ready to go, but they do need our partnership in this endeavor. There are needs for support in prayer, for support in training, and for support on the mission field. "And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'"
Indeed, there is much passion and zeal among the Christians in China right now. However, the need for sound Biblical training is absolutely imperative. One of our main goals is to properly equip these brothers and sisters to share the truth of the word of God. We seek to integrate classroom instruction with personal discipleship and hands-on training, partnering with accredited, Evangelical seminaries and also with seasoned pastors and teachers from the United States, Britain, Korea, China, and elsewhere. Training takes place both inside and outside of China.
Our missionaries are equipped to go into all the world, to be deployed as agents of transformation, light and life, as they take the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. Currently, missionaries serve in remote areas of China, in Kyrgyzstan, and other regions of Central Asia. We also have missionaries in Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia. In 2014, we would like to plant an additional 30 missionaries in Pakistan, Uzbekistan, West Africa, and Thailand. Our hope is that Western churches will rise up and be willing to "adopt" and support missionaries as they labor in these regions.
You have a great opportunity to get involved in this amazing work of the Lord. We would ask for your prayer support and that you would consider supporting a missionary in the foreign field. The cost to support a missionary, depending on location, is between $500-$1000 per month. Ideally, denominations and churches would be able to commit to this, but individuals are most welcome to partner with us as well.
